Robert "Buck" Hampson

Dr. Hampson directed the graduate program in Psychology for most of his tenure there. He is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas and primarily focuses on administering full-psychoeducational evaluations and ADHD assessments on a part-time basis. “Dr. B” has been providing testing and assessments through Heritage for over 15 years. The tests, for children and adults, include Wechsler Intelligence tests, nationally-normed achievement tests (e.g., Woodcock-Johnson), diagnostic reading tests (Nelson-Denny), self-concept and depression scales, and measures of attention and hyperactivity.

Dr. Hampson was awarded the Outstanding Psychologist of the Year (2020) by the Dallas Psychological Association. He is married and has two adult daughters and loves watching his grandchildren play soccer and basketball.
